One of the most diabolical and dastardly Bible changes to date, is the replacing of Wild Goats with Satyrs in Isaiah 13. Why dastardly you ask. A Satyr is none other than the pagan god Pan, or one of his children. In ancient Greek religion and mythology, Pan is the god of the wild, shepherds & flocks, nature of mountain wilds, rustic music, and companion to the wood nymphs. He had the backside, legs, and horns of a goat. So why would it have been mentioned in the Holy book as if it was an actual creature and not myth? Look for yourself if you don’t believe me
Isaiah 13:21 But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there. (KJV as it is now)
Why would he now be mentioned in the Bible as if he or it were actually real? The answer is, he wasn’t mentioned in the Bible. At least not until recently! I have only found it in one place now in the above mentioned verse. But here is what the verse actually said:
Isaiah 13:21 But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; The owls shall dwell there, And the wild goats shall skip there. (KJV as it was before the change)
